This book tells the story of children who have a turbulent family life.  A happy summer trip to the beach turns to tragedy when they lose their mum in a car accident.  They are left to make sense of their loss, supported by their loving Auntie Lou, mum's sister.  Information is included for adults navigating traumatic loss of a parent with young children or teens.
